Emme's 3rd album is "Oto Monogatari".
Just like phantom night of summer, Back Then, Nochinochinochi and Yaina which was used as a stage "land of life", the story of Yaina, has been Shitatame the Yurariyurari, the "sound", "Uta". The storytellers are Emme, the string musicians, and the bamboo and gourd musicians.
A medium-sized concept album that is different from the previous two works. Emme's song, koto, shamisen, erhu, shakuhachi, guitar, and the sounds of handmade bamboo and gourd instruments, recorded with the deep green mountain air, invite you to the story.
The story is music. It is the listener = you who creates the story.

  • Emme

    Emme was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1961. Since she started her singing career in 1981. she's taken part in uncountable recordings and live concerts of big artists such as Katsumi Watanabe, Yuming, Takuro Yoshida, EPO etc..... so her angelic voice is recognized in various kind of music; jazz, fusion, Japanese pops and folk songs. In the music department of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1997, Emme graduated from special courses of traditional Japanese music department. Emme has released four of the original CD from 2001 to the present. Emme sang at the time of the reception party of the President of Ireland visit to Japan. Emme composed the Asakusa Sanja Matsuri official theme song. Also, she sound source production of Kochi Yosakoi festival. Thai movie "Yamada" appearance. Join the Hollywood movie "Ghost In The Shell"with voice. Emme played with Tokiwazu Mozibei and Altan. Concert musical "animal conference" appearance. Emme has performed in Sweden,N.Y,Taiwan and Thailand.
