Artist Profile

  • Poison Baby & Renraku Machine

Poison Baby & Renraku Machine is a music project led by bassist, Soshi Uchida, and singer, Megu Imaji. The collaboration of Uchida's creative arrangements and Imaji's gifted melodic compositions is the essence of PB&RM's music along with their lyrics which often focus on ordinary life experiences. PB&RM is known for its large ensemble in both studio and live settings featuring six singers and a 13 piece band including horn & string sections. The group's first EP, "Minzoku-no Tame-ni" was released in April 2022 which features numerous talents such as singer/songwriter, Yu Sakai, Grammy Award winning percussionist, Keita Ogawa, and Blue Note recording artist/trumpeter, Takuya Kuroda.
