Echo

"Echo" is an R&B track with a gentle sense of momentum, co-written with songwriter and music producer Ryosuke Hosoi.

As children, we had no titles, no status, and nothing to our name, yet we were happy. As we grow older and gain more in life, we also leave parts of ourselves behind without even realizing it. "Echo" explores those forgotten feelings and the parts of ourselves we have lost touch with along the way.

The song is not simply about going back to the past. Growing older and experiencing loneliness can also reveal a kind of beauty we could not see as children, like being deeply moved by the beauty of a sunset. Carrying everything we have lived through, we forget, then remember, and forget again. Somewhere in that cycle comes the realization that what truly matters has never completely left us.
