The album sublimates the essence of rock from the 1970s onwards, from indie rock, post-punk, guitar pop to classic rock, with a modern sensibility. The reality of a generation living in the future, spun by words and outstanding songwriting extracted over a period of five years since the band's predecessor, Ceremony, without being at the mercy of the fast-changing scene and trends.
The sound is a miraculous balance of intelligence and emotion, and although it is no longer a heretic in Japanese pop music, those on the border are the first to receive the signs of change.
Strip Joint's first album, finally completed, is an honest message to a generation that struggles to look at the same crazy everyday life, and will be the first pitch for the coming resonance.
