  MASTERLINK was originally formed in Machida, Tokyo in 2002 consists of NARU (Vocal, Guitar, and Programming), KOJI (Bass) and other member. They began making music at home studio which features music programming to create new perception of the general public. In 2003, they sent demo to radio audition program. To their amaze, they won 1st prize by highest votes from audience. In March, they performed at the event held by this radio program along with "ELLEGARDEN" and "NANANINE". This was their first official gigs. Around this time, they received many offers from record company and media company.
