Four years since their previous album, 906 Nine-O-Six spent three years crafting their new album "3", successfully updating their unique musical style.


Turning around from their conventional sample-heavy style, this work challenges a new approach of playing instruments with their own hands and building up every single note from the foundation. Through many emotional ups and downs during production and deep self-reflection on commitment, they arrived at a focus on the irreplaceable and precious things close to them: family, friends, and music.

Although the sound is rough and gritty, running counter to today's trends, what lies deep beneath is a surprisingly delicate emotional subtlety and a thoroughly gentle, warm message.
