This is the first single in an ambitious project by Toru Kobayashi a singer-songwriter who lives and travels in a self-built "Kei-truck" mobile house to release 30 consecutive singles throughout 2026.

"Misetai Basho" (The Place I Want to Show You) was written during Toru's travels through India and Sri Lanka in 2025. The song captures the essence of his journey, blending his warm vocals with the deep, resonant tones of his acoustic bass. The cover art features a photograph taken by Toru himself during his time in those countries, offering a direct glimpse into the world he experienced.

Toru Kobayashi is not just a musician, but a traveler who brings his music to every corner of Japan while living on the road. This track serves as the opening chapter of his 30-song odyssey, inviting listeners worldwide to join him on a musical journey through landscapes both internal and external.

Experience the unique sound of a modern-day wandering minstrel, and the beginning of a year-long creative marathon.
