"MY ROOTS" brings DJ KRUTCH together with peko of Umeda Cypher and singer-songwriter Hanah Spring, whose roots lie in jazz and soul.
The track was inspired by a conversation between DJ KRUTCH and peko while visiting record stores in Osaka during edhiii boi's tour. peko reflects on the days he spent collecting CDs, vinyl, and mixtapes, dreaming of becoming somebody, while Hanah Spring adds a soulful melody and vocals.
A HIP HOP track that looks back on the memories, people, and music that shaped who we are today.
