Cathedral

Formed in 2024, this collective consists of poet Oscar, composer sleepyflax, and filmmaker Keita Ito. With the concept, "May your story refract beautifully," we craft a unique world of spoken word poetry through lyrical imagery and cinematic soundscapes. Our work is sentimental, sometimes violent. Words constantly seek the light, while sound commands the space, offering listeners new stories and a beautiful distortion that reaches deep within.

Our debut work, Cathedral, focuses on the pervasive sense of restlessness within people. It explores the anxiety of losing oneself while surrendering to universal happiness, expressed as a dialogue with the anger dwelling within.
