第6弾となる今作は、小編成バンドから根強い人気のある福島弘和「夢への冒険」を新録音したほか、ドイツミュージカル界の巨匠クルト・ヴァイルの代表作「三文オペラ」を小編成向けにアレンジ。20人前後で演奏できる作品を中心に10作を収録しました。

また、東北を訪れ、強く芽生えた復興の願いの気持ちを込めて作曲した樽屋雅徳「無辜の祈り」、ホルストの惑星の断片が随所に織り込まれた長生淳「地球」など人気作家の新作が満載です。

演奏は、昨年8月にリリースされたCD「祈り 未来への歌声」で国内外から注目を集める海上自衛隊東京音楽隊。
