The Lost Album Lacursis Returns at Last
In the mid-1980s, lyricist Akira Otsu and Yusuke Nakamura came together to create Lacursis - an album woven from imagination and emotion.
A labor of love that took two and a half years to complete, the album was sadly shelved just after its completion, as Japan's economic bubble burst and the music industry entered a period of decline. For decades, Lacursis remained unreleased - a hidden gem, quietly waiting.
Now, after all these years, it finally emerges from the shadows.
A deeply personal work, Lacursis is like a musical memoir, sung in the voice of Yusuke Nakamura himself - an artist known for crafting countless hit songs across genres. Each track resonates with the spirit and sound of its time, infused with passion and intention.
And in those moments where melody intersects with memory, long-forgotten feelings and fragments of time gently rise to the surface.
