  • Half Mile Beach Club

    A four-piece instrumental band formed in Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, and currently based in Tokyo. With a focus on Balearic, they play comfortable dance music that evokes seaside scenes, interweaving the textures of Latin jazz and club music with the sensibility of indie rock. In 2019, they released their first album, "Be Built, Then Lost," from P-VINE RECORDS. After electronic numbers featuring Eminata and Maika Loubté, they evolved their style into a completely instrumental piece under the production of Saito "JxJx" Jun (YOUR SONG IS GOOD) in 2022, and released their second album, "Days of the Ocean Waves," in 2024. Their unique sound, which combines the organic sound of live instruments and a comfortable groove with the texture of club music, has been highly praised both at home and abroad, and is gaining support from overseas listeners. With the concept of "Our Local Balearic Music", they perform live in a variety of situations, including clubs and live music venues, self-organized events in their hometown of Zushi combining film screenings and live performances, and outdoor festivals.
