アーティスト情報

  • 薬師寺 寛邦

    1979年生まれ。臨済宗妙心寺派 海禅寺の副住職。 僧侶であり音楽家としても活動し、2017年より般若心経をはじめとする仏教経典の読誦に音楽を重ねた「般若心経ミュージック」シリーズを制作。これまでに多数のアルバムを発表している。また、仏教の教えに根ざした「生きる上で大切にしたいこと」をテーマに、自ら作詞・作曲したオリジナル楽曲も多数手がける。 YouTubeチャンネルの登録者数は約75万人を誇り、般若心経ミュージック関連動画の世界累計再生回数は1億回を突破。 2018年にはSNSを通じてアジア圏で注目を集め、中国・香港・台湾を巡るアジアツアーを2018年・2019年と連続開催。約2年で1万人以上を動員した。 コロナ禍を経て、2022年より海外活動を再開。2022年の東南アジアツアーを皮切りに、2023年には初のワールドツアー、2024年にはアジアツアーを実施し、中国、台湾、香港、マレーシア、シンガポール、インドネシア、タイ、オーストラリアなど各地で好評を博す。 「この音楽で心をリセットできるように」という願いのもと、日本からアジア、そして世界へ仏教の祈りを“音”に乗せて、いまを生きるすべての人に届け続けている。
