Coven Japan, The Tokyo-based Heavy Metal band worship at the altar of the likes of Iron Maiden and other NWOBHM bands, Mercyful Fate.
Our approach is an original one in the sense that we bring in our Japanese heritage to the mix.
We want to retain our Japanese identity, originality and bring our own Japanese metal to the world.

    We're Newcomer! Female Fronted Traditional Metal From Land of Rising Sun! "Coven Japan" is inspired by NWOBHM and early Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate and a lot of 80's Metal and 70's Hard Rock and Japanese otaku culture, anime, manga comics etc. We released our debut album "The Advent" from Svart Records in Finland and will release the first full-length album from No Remorse Records this year! Don't miss the Samurai Newcomer from the Land of the Rising Sun!
