This artist/producer is known for left-handed guitar playing and for compositions and lyrics that enchant listeners and send them floating on the music's waves. With a rock-inspired sound that flexibly incorporates elements from genres as wide-ranging as folk and electronic music, and unique melodies that are all DECO*27's own, the realistic themes of love and romance writ large in these songs resonate with listeners everywhere. All this is topped off with subtle wordplay and lyricism that has enchanted teenage listeners through those in their 20s. In October 2008, DECO*27 began posting works composed with VOCALOID (an audio synthesis tool) on video sharing sites. 12 of these tracks have been played over 1,000,000 times. Nearly all of his tracks have also been inducted into the VOCALOID hall of fame (over 100,000 playbacks), and he has the astonishing record of 41,000,000 views on Nico Nico. His debut album, "Soaisei Riron," was followed up with the December 2010 release, "Aimai Elegy," which debuted at number 7 on the Oricon Daily Charts. His third album, "Love Calendar," was a departure from VOCALOID artistry and features an all-human cast of singers. This, too, made headlines when it was released in July 2012. His first best album of VOCALOID greatest hits came out in December 2013 under the title, "DECO*27 VOCALOID COLLECTION 2008~2012," and this was followed in March 2014 by "Conti New," an album featuring all of his songs sung by Hatsune Miku. This proved a turning point in his work. Between 2014 and 2016, DECO*27 has composed music for singers, popular idols, voice actors, and advertising campaigns, continuing to draw on his roots in VOCALOID music in a freeform way and charting a path towards his next release. DECO*27 is also actively involved in producing and composing music for Shoko Nakagawa (Shokotan), MEG, Daizy×Daizy, Bouno!, Ko Shibasaki, Q'ulle, and others. In addition to working on a range of side projects, DECO*27's producer and composer role for the work of other artists sees him continuously expanding his repertoire. As a creator of the Internet era, he is producing a range of cutting-edge work, while at the same time drawing on his own deep respect for his roots in the VOCALOID scene to bring exciting influence and passion to many genres and cultures. This is one artist/producer whose combination of enthusiasm and free thinking makes him one of a kind. ●Official Site: deco27.com/ ●YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/deco27official ●Twitter: @DECO27 ●Facebook: facebook.com/DECO27.Official
