Welcome to Straw House

Artist Profile

• Straw House

Straw House is a hip-hop collective operating between Tokyo and Sendai. Built through long-standing relationships and chance encounters, the group took shape naturally where everyday movement and music overlap. Members from different generations and backgrounds come together without flattening their individuality, prioritizing in-person sessions over remote-only workflows. That balance of loose chemistry and professional-level execution drives Straw House's distinct momentum and bazaar-like energy. Daily motion and city atmosphere are translated directly into sound through the act of making the music itself. Straw House continues to stack grooves forged in shared space, time, and motion.
