Artist Profile

  • Mahina Yamauchi

    A jazz vocalist and singer-songwriter from Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Japan. She began studying classical piano at an early age and later enrolled at Kunitachi College of Music, where she trained in both classical and jazz. After graduating, she attended the Berklee Summer Program, further developing her musical expression through diverse musical styles and interactions with people from around the world. Rooted in jazz and classical music, her style features acoustic yet pop-oriented sounds paired with Japanese lyrics. She released her first single "Window" in March 2024, followed by her second single "unabara" in August. In December 2025, she released her first EP, "Dreamlike". Currently, she is active mainly in Tokyo, focusing on songwriting and live performances.
