The people in the city, each to a greater or lesser extent, bear their cracks.
Some quicken their pace, hiding their cracks.
Some forget their cracks in cheerful conversation.
Some embrace their cracks and tread firmly onward.
Some pry open their cracks and leap into the unknown.
And some fear their cracks, freezing in place.
The more ideals diverge from reality, the larger these cracks become.
When one notices these cracks and gazes into them for long enough,
the heart is drawn into their endless depths,
and the world at one's feet begins to look utterly different.
From here unfolds the story of "me,"
which, upon discovering these cracks,
journeys through the time he has lived, the weeks that repeat, and the days that pass,
wandering the spaces between imagination and reality--
a tale of ordinary days.
