Beautiful

Joelle

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful to me

You brought me into the world

You taught me the way that I should be

And I owe you everything

But I know you did it all for free

I hope you understand you’re beautiful to me

From the first breath that I took

I remember you were there

You were calling out my name

You were showing that you care

And you never let me down

Even when I made you cry

And so often I had caused to wonder why

The many memories that we shared

Paint a picture in my heart

I can feel the love that’s there

Even when we’re miles apart

And all the funny things you said

And the million things you do

I’m so proud to say that I belong to you

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful to me

You brought me into the world

You taught me the way that I should be

And I owe you everything

But I know you did it all for free

I hope you know by now you’re beautiful to me

And when the night has come

And I am on my own

It seems the road goes on and on

You’ll be on my side

You’ve opened up my eyes

You’ll be a part of me for all my life

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful to me

You brought me into the world

You taught me the way that I should be

And I owe you everything

But I know you did it all for free

I think you know by now you’re beautiful to me

I hope you understand you’re beautiful to me
