  • MIMA MORIOKA

    Born February 4, 1967 in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, musician/voice trainer. Her real name is Mima Honda. She formed the junior high school techno band "Cosmic Invention" and debuted in 1981 after being the opening act for YMO's Nippon Budokan concert in 1980. The band released three single s and one album, including "Computer Grandma," before disbanding in 1982. Later, under the name MIMA, shesang the theme song "Osharemesaruna" for the anime "Magical Fairy Persia" and joined bands such as Kazz:ba. She also assists on music programs, works as a medicinal chef, and manages a restaurant, etc. In November 2016, she released her first solo album, "Covenant Of Love". Released her first original album in November 2023. The album contains songs written and collected since the age of 16, with unique songs worked on with arranger Mumon Toyama.
