YURI

After graduating from high school,
pianist Yuri left Japan and moved to Russia on her own.

In Saint Petersburg-a city of unfamiliar language,
culture, and severe winters-
she devoted herself to rigorous musical training.
There were freezing days,
loneliness, and times when the music would not come as she wished.
Yet those years became invisible roots,
supporting the artist and pianist she is today.

Inspired by the years in Russia described in Yuri's book,
SETRIN (YURI) does not simply recount her biography.
It transforms her experience into a universal story:
even during the seasons when no flower can be seen,
a person is still growing.

A bulb beneath the snow is not standing still.
Out of sight, it sends down roots and gathers
the strength to welcome spring.

The years that may have looked like detours were never empty.
The solitude, discipline,
and perseverance accumulated within her eventually
became a sound that belongs to her alone.

Snow represents the Russian winter and the trials she faced.
Rin represents the quiet dignity and strength born from those years.
Together,

Born from respect for one pianist,
this song is also dedicated to everyone
who is still living through a season beneath the snow.

-The sound nurtured beneath the snow quietly opens
the door to spring.
