Shortly after their formation, their talent caught the attention of industry professionals known for discovering rising stars. In just 3 months, they achieved the remarkable feat of being selected as the final act among newcomers at the Yume Group Concert, an extremely rare accomplishment. Breaking conventions within the kayo genre, they have also built their fanbase through consistent street performances, leading to a successful solo concert at Wako Civic Cultural Center within only 9 months of their debut, showcasing their rapid rise. The name SUKIYAKI represents their vision. Like the dish itself, a rich combination of diverse ingredients coming together to create something truly exceptional. It symbolizes the fusion of their individual talents into one powerful entertainment experience. The group is led by TJ, a former Johnnys Jr. His potential was recognized early on by top performers in the industry. With his exceptional vocals and dynamic dance skills, he is often described as the Japanese Michael Jackson of the kayo world. Alongside him is his younger brother RJ, a saxophonist with an unconventional background as a former postal worker. Supporting the performance with both saxophone and chorus, he adds a unique musical depth to their sound. Their bond as brothers creates an undeniable chemistry on stage.
