Last Dance (feat. GUMI)

My new single, "Last Dance (feat. GUMI)," will be released on June 1st, 2026.

This track marks my first foray into techno-pop.

Electronic sounds flying from both sides and a completely re-evaluated beat interact with each other to create a robust sound unlike anything I've done before. It's an energetic track that fuses a fast-paced rhythm with a cyberpunk aesthetic.

In the chorus, I've incorporated the "repeating the same phrase" technique, a staple of 90s J-POP, to enhance its catchiness.

With accents scattered throughout, such as the guitar cutting that comes in midway through the verse and the change in time signature before the chorus, the song is structured to keep you engaged until the very end.

The title, "Last Dance," embodies the feeling of "I want this to be my last love."

The lyrics are based on the image of a woman who is usually cool and strong-willed, but loses all control when it comes to love.

The music video is set in a cyberpunk city, depicting the woman from the lyrics speeding through in a blue sports car, emphasizing the narrative.
The illustrations also employ a different style than usual to match the worldview, creating a unified sound, lyrics, and visuals.
