port is an indie rock band formed in Sendai in 2015 by Naoki Ota (vocals, guitar), Shoki Kanno (drums), and Ryoma Toyosato (bass), and has been based in Tokyo since 2019. The band is heavily influenced by '90s US emo, alternative rock, and slacker rock, characterized by its unique style of guitar play, aggressive bass and drum combination, and straightforward, heart-stirring vocals.
