The Trigger of a Dream is a song in which Murasaki Chihaya projects his own view of life and death, tracing the path of a soul wandering between dream and reality.

A beautiful yet distorted sense of longing for death blossoms, and a philosophy on the verge of breaking resounds like a bullet through the heart.
In the midst of ruin, he discovers life. Here lies the origin of Murasaki Chihaya.

Chihaya Murasaki
A singer songwriter who wanders the twilight between dream and reality, expressing his view of life and death and his yearning for it in haunting poetry. His unique world finds beauty in ruin weaving a fragile yet intense philosophy into mellow melodies. Combining ethnic instruments with retro synthesizers, his sound becomes a cabinet of curiosities nostalgic yet cruelly beautiful preserving fleeting illusions in song. In September 2024 he began his career with the release of his debut single The Trigger of a Dream.
