Lantern Floating and a Distant Promise

"Toro Nagashi to Tooi Yakusoku (Lantern Floating and a Distant Promise)" is a summer ballad about the words left unsaid, the people we can no longer meet, and the promises that still glow quietly within us.

Set against a hometown shopping street, distant festival drums, a warm night breeze, and lanterns drifting along a river, the song follows someone returning not to forget the past, but to keep carrying it forward while living fully in the present. RYO's layered five-part vocals bring warmth, tenderness, and a quiet sense of resolve to every scene.

For anyone learning to move toward tomorrow without letting go of someone precious, this is a prayer-like song of summer-turning sorrow into light, and sending it onward beneath the same sky.
