Mamoru Motooka's 6th album, featuring his personal favourite tracks selected from his previous four solo albums, takes the form of a best-of compilation comprising twelve tracks. This includes eight remixed and remastered pieces, two re-recorded tracks, and two new compositions. Though utilising three pianos - the Bösendorfer Model 290 Imperial, 280vc, and FAZIOLI F278 - the unique editing achieves a unified feel, presenting an evolved world of fantastical, decadent beauty.

    He began his professional career as a pianist and keyboardist An allrounder who defies genre boundaries he has served as a pianist on music programmes for Japan national broadcaster and has been active in accompanying session work and studio work for numerous major artists In recent years his focus has been on overseas performances primarily in Europe with his own shamisen rock band URUSH and the shamisen&piano duo Shamipia To date he has performed 38 shows across 17 countries composing all the music himself Since the onset of the pandemic he has also focused on his solo work releasing six albums and five music videos to date Four of these albums were recorded at venues such as the Austrian Musikverein and his six solo albums have collectively recorded over 60 million views on UGC and short videos as well as over 7 million streams
