Yattemiro ("Do It Yourself")

Music video project for "Yattemiro" ("Do It Yourself") by Japanese folk singer and rapper Shiro Shinigami. Driven by acoustic folk guitar and intersecting elements of rap and folk, the track boldly confronts the "armchair criticism" prevalent in the social media era. The video features Shiro Shinigami performing inside a boxing gym, along with additional scenes filmed near Shinjuku Station that portray the message of the song through street-performance-style imagery. The music video is directed by love is zero tenshi dando missile, a filmmaker known for producing numerous works for prominent artists including Ryoff Karma, and who is also active as the CEO of love is zero LLC. The video features Kaori Kawabuchi, an internationally renowned sword performer known globally as "LADY SAMURAI." She leads the sword performance team IDEAL, serves as the vocalist of the music unit KAO=S, and has also worked as a motion actor for major titles such as NieR:Automata (2B) and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 (Motoko Kusanagi).
