Artist Profile

  • DEALER

    DEALER first picked up the mic in the early 2000s and soon joined LOADED, a Fukuoka based West Coast Hip Hop crew. Centered around the legendary Oyafuko Street in Fukuoka, he built his name through live performances, mic jacking, MC battles, event organizing, and appearances at major Hip Hop events. Just as his momentum was building, DEALER was incarcerated in 2009. Even behind bars, he never stopped writing lyrics or sharpening his craft. After his release in 2020, he returned to the scene with full force, performing as a side MC for D+C of SHITAKILI IX, while continuing to develop his own music and live performances. Raised in the golden era of the Fukuoka underground Hip Hop scene and returning more than a decade later, DEALER is, in a sense, a West Coast rapper who stepped out of a time machine, bringing the raw spirit of the golden days of Oyafuko into the present.
