ディズニーの有名曲のカバーで安心・安定のリラックスタイムを。1990年代。日本の音楽業界はいわゆる「バブル」の状態に入った。ミリオンセラーが続出し、誰もがCDを買う時代があった。そのタイミングで、大きく認知度を上げたのが「カバーアルバム」だ。日本人として後世に伝えるべき楽曲を残していこうという思いが、多くのアーティストたちが名曲をカバーする意味合いとなった。今作『Chillout Bar Lounge ～Smooth Famous Song Covers～』は、そのカバーアルバムのディズニー版だ。『アナと雪の女王』『白雪姫』『アラジン』『美女と野獣』などどこかで聞いたことのある楽曲が、「Chillout Bar Lounge」ver.として生まれ変わった。耳なじみがあることに加え、演奏者の楽しそうな気持ちが伝わる仕上がりで、素敵なカバーアルバムとなった。
