This 3rd single "Sinking Flowers" follows the single "Reflections" which got the first place in Apple Store Japan "jazz" top song. This work, which strongly emphasizes the "Quietness" aspect of the soundtrack, is a chill-out work composed with the least amount of selected sound. It breaks the line between jazz improvisation and beat music in a new way.Folks Cinematic Jazz Ensemble is a jazz sextet pursuing jazz music with cinematic visuals. Musically, Folks marries the improvisation of jazz with various other styles of music, for example, reggae, rock, folk, and chill out etc, under the direction of Shouhei Matsushita a.k.a M-Swift (Irma Records / Italy, Free Style Records/U.K.). This project features some of the finest jazz musicians in Tokyo with London-based Nemo Roberts providing the visual imagery inspired by the music. This new journey will be a journey to the inner landscape. The brand new album is coming on this summer 2021.

    "Folks Cinematic Jazz Ensemble" is a Jazz Sextet which is pursuing jazz music with Cinematic visual images. It releases 1st album written as a soundtrack for a fictional Road Movie on September 2019. Musically, Folk's marry the improvisation of Jazz with various style of music, for example, Reggae, Rock , Folks music, and Chill out etc...Shouhei Matsushita a.k.a M-Swift (Irma Records / Italy, Freestyle Records / U.K.) started this new project. The finest jazz musicians in Tokyo is joining on this band. And also London-based Japanese photographer Nemo Roberts joins on this project, Each songs is related to Nemo's photograph. Not only music, not only photography, both arts are collaborating in more closely-connected way expressing the story of fictional movie. "Folks" is a group which is seeking a new art form.
