While navigating life with bipolar disorder, he officially launched his music career in 2024. On December 18 of the same year, he released his debut album LANDFILL, delivering raw, DIY-driven grunge and alternative rock that laid bare the pain, frustration, and impulses born from self-doubt. Openly identifying as non-binary, sammy. also creates music that stands alongside minorities and those carrying emotional pain. Many of his songs are messages of solidarity - screaming together, sharing wounds, and confronting inner turmoil.
