Sing J Roy, a cultural reggae artist, who represents Japan, travelled to LA to collaborate with Avi Buffalo, who tours world wide. This new song "TAKE IT EASY" is perfect beach music that will bring the Californian breeze to you.
ing J Roy Profile Based in his home town of Fukui, Japan, Sing J Roy has been performing and producing Japanese Reggae music since the 1990s. The release of the single "NO MORE WAR" in 2007 was well received and earned him many fans nationwide. In 2007 he established his own record company, "Danne the records" and then in 2008 released the single "Hoya Hoya", in which he depicts the beauty of each season in the city of Fukui. This song made him very popular among the young and old in the area. The success of this event led to him being appointed as a 'brand' ambassador for the city of Fukui, a role that allowed him to participate as a special music teacher at his local primary school, as well as at many other schools both within the prefecture and in other parts of Japan. In addition, he has been invited to Kyoto Seika University and to Kurume University as a guest lecturer. Sing J Roy enjoys the unique position of currently being the only teacher of reggae music lessons at primary schools in Japan. His passion for music drew the attention of Shuji Kamimoto, a lecturer at Kurume University, who, after having grown an interest in Sing J Roy's works in the primary education field, published a thesis on "Dancehall Reggae rooted in the local area," listing the song "Wakasa no Takara (Treasures of the Wakasa Area)" as an example at one of JASPM's (Japan Association of Studying Popular Music) meetings. Sing J Roy has released 3 full albums, 5 mini albums and 7 singles over the course of his musical career. On 29 April 2018, he released his latest single, "Dream Come True" from Ari Prado Music, which is currently available for purchase on the US iTunes store. He is a one-of-a-kind cultural artist, representing Japan both to his fellow Japanese and to the rest of the world in a truly unique way.
