The Sonatina by Maurice Ravel, one of the most famous composers of modern France, is a refined and beautiful work in three movements.
This time the work is in the second movement, a graceful, floating movement with a "minuet tempo".
Ravel was born in the Basque Country in France, and this lovely melody, which evokes the countryside in which he would have grown up, is performed by Sin in a beautiful solo piano performance.
