Shizuoka-based alternative rock band esto will release their latest album, Houseless, on July 11, 2025.

Having previously embraced an emotional guitar rock sound, esto shifts toward a more alternative approach on this release. The album pursues a rawer texture and swaying groove in its sound, capturing a more human sense of ebb and flow and breath. By focusing on these organic elements, esto renders their signature tension and impulse in sharper, more three-dimensional detail.

The title Houseless reflects a strong desire to break free from fixed ideas-and the disorienting feeling of having no place to belong that often accompanies such a stance.

The album, featuring 8 tracks, was recorded at triple time studio. Mixing was handled by Junya Iwata, and mastering was done by Soichiro Nakamura of Peace Music.

To celebrate the album's release, esto will host a release event on Saturday, July 26, at Yoshiwara ANTERA.
