If I could choose a day to remember
Between a hundred
Turns around the sun
I’d choose the night we sat on the rooftop
Just the two of us
Gazing at the stars
If we pretend we’re under the same
Same sky again
The ceiling of this room won’t feel so low
Ahhh
I’ll be here by your side
For as long as you like
‘Till we’re out of our time
Put your hands in mine
Ahh
I don’t want you to go
I’d say, “Don’t leave me alone”
You’d say, “It’ll be alright
I’ll be right here inside.”
You didn’t get to blow all your candles
All that you deserve
Is just more time on Earth
Wish I had saved you from this nightmare
But your starry night crossed over
I lost you in the blur
Ahhh
I’ll be here by your side
For as long as you like
‘Till we’re out of our time
Put your hands in mine
Ahh
I don’t want you to go
I’d say, “Don’t leave me alone”
You’d say, “It’ll be alright
I’ll be right here inside.”
I won’t let you regret
All the things you’ve done and left for you and I
I won’t ever forget
All the stars in the sky, and your heart next to mine
Let the world see us shine
I won’t let you regret
All the things you’ve done and left for you and I
I won’t ever forget
That I’m yours forever
I’ll see you on the other side
Ahhh
