"Astronomy" is Yuuka's second original single. Blending live piano and strings with an alternative sound infused with R&B influences, the song creates a cinematic and atmospheric soundscape. Following her debut release, Yuuka once again wrote, composed, performed, and directed and produced the music video herself.

Artist Profile

  • Yuuka

Yuuka is a Japanese singer-songwriter blending slow R&B, city pop, and cinematic ballads. She writes her own lyrics, melodies, and chord progressions, crafting each song note by note on the piano with an organic, hands-on approach. Inspired by the atmosphere of urban nights, her music explores the delicate emotions that exist between loss and renewal through intimate melodies and poetic lyrics. Known for her airy whisper-like vocals, Yuuka conveys subtle emotions with delicate nuance, finding beauty in silence and emotional space rather than sheer vocal power. Before focusing on original music, she built a dedicated audience as a live-streaming singer, sharing performances in real time. On her YouTube channel, she performs acoustic piano-and-vocal covers of timeless songs. Today, she is focusing on creating original music and sharing works that express her unique artistic vision.
