Higher We Go was created as the walk-up song for
Naoki Wakamatsu of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars.

Because its a song he hears every time he steps onto the mound,
I didnt want it to be just about hype or energy.
I wanted it to quietly push his back forward in that single moment.

Even in the cold night air,
with doubts and fears still lingering,
you keep moving forward.
Believing in yourself, taking one step at a time toward something higher.
That image was always in my mind while creating this song.

I believe music is born through human connection.
When a song is made with someone in mind,
it carries a power beyond words.
