• Ai Yamashita

  Ai Yamashita is from Japan, a multi-pianist of variety music, Jazz, Latin Pop, Classical etc. She started learning music when she was three years old. Since her childhood, she played piano with Classical and electronic organ with Jazz, Latin, Movie music. In high school, she was in Rock/Pop music club as a keyboardist and songwriter. In college, she studied classic music in major of Piano Performance for four years in Japan. After graduation, she worked as a piano teacher and pianist in weddings and piano bars for a few years. Besides that work, she started to learn Jazz seriously. This made her realize that Jazz and Pop were her music because she could play more freely. She decided to go back to college to study these genres of music. Currently, she is a student in Berklee College of Music in Boston to study piano performance, composing, arranging, and music business. People say, "If we ask her for any gigs, accompaniments and recordings, she can cope with everything well with certain responsibility." That is because she can play many styles of music, and her skill is not only music but also business such as organizing and communications. In addition, she is a cheerful, outgoing, and enthusiastic person with a big smile. People love her personality and are willing to work with her.
