"ichigoichie," the latest track by guitarist and vocalist Akashi Yamane, was originally created ten years ago as a song dedicated to a baker he deeply respected. Taking the baker's personal motto as its title, the song was crafted as an acoustic piece performed with guitar and vocals that draws emotional resonance from the encounters in Yamane's own life and the everyday things surrounding him.
It was just performed as the closing number at the "AKASHI ROCK FREE" live concert and talk show held on May 15, 2026. That performance inspired the decision to officially release the song, leading to the creation of this version featuring a full band arrangement.
