Osaka-based rapper Feliz has released his 1st album "Akagami."
Drawing from his experience as a former Japan Ground Self-Defense Force ranger, the album vividly reflects his personal philosophy and thoughts on peace, making it a raw and authentic full-length work. Rather than stories from social media or television, it presents the perspective of a young man who stood on the battlefield with the resolve to defend his country a rare and valuable piece not only in HIPHOP but in modern Japanese music history.
The production is handled by Osaka's up-and-coming beatmakers vvind and 0mSv. Their abstract, bass-heavy tracks seamlessly fuse with Feliz's worldview, giving the album a strong sense of narrative throughout.
Guest appearances include SHEEF THE 3RD, RAWAX, MAD JAG, and Pcill respected artists from both Kansai and Kanto, across generations, who add depth and variety to the project.
At a time when war and peace have become pressing themes, this album leaves a powerful impression that transcends debate and resonates deeply with its listeners.
