Sound artist Yasutaka Okada releases his new single Kaikō / signal.

Following the exploration of the inner universe expressed in his full album inside and the singles Moku and Ashiato / trip,this work delves even deeper into the moment where sounds meet, intersect, and are born an ephemeral encounter, a true kaikō.

While inheriting the ambient aesthetics of his previous works, this release further pursues layered, three-dimensional textures with a high degree of improvisation. Within it lies a singular sonic meeting point where chance and inevitability quietly intertwine.

    Yasutaka Okada Performer Born in Kyoto in 1985. contrabass/daxophone/synthesizer/guitar/piano/field recording/etc... Plays all the sounds of his own work. Releases the energy of the universe, the afterlife, synchronicity with ethnic consciousness, and connection with the natural world as sound waves into the world. His expression, which feels like watching a single movie, invites us to a deeper world by closing our eyes and blocking one of our senses. As a member of the band kott, formed by Shin Konokawa, the former drummer of jizue, they released their first album "kott" in 2023 and performed at the FUJIROCK FESTIVAL 2023.
