"Spirit journey" is a solo album by iritena, Native American flute player.

This album, mostly original tunes, is featuring the sound of the native American flute.

The 14 tunes on the album are made up of rearranged native North American folk songs, as well as original tunes which take the Indian flute into a new, unexpected realm of sound for this instrument. These musical stories are showing his desire to expand the adventures for this type of flute.

2 songs are Co-written with ASK, an acoustic band consisting of banjo, piano and a deeply warm and spiritual female vocal. There is also a tune composed with Bo-Z EXP, a sound creator who is best known for electronic improvisation. This is iritena's and his first recorded collaboration

    iritena NativeAmericanFlute player The beginning of the journey. In 1995, he discovered the Bamboo Flute called Suling in Bali. My mind is filled with a feeling of clarity, and I feel like I want to blow like the wind. Since then, after working in traditional Balinese music groups and avant-garde improvisation groups, he has added the Native American Flute as a new partner and continues to create and perform music. The album "Spirit Journey 001" was released in 2017, and the album "Spirit Journey" was released in November 2021.
