"A cold, mechanical pulse echoing through the darkness meets an orchestra breathing with human warmth. 'Seizu no nai Kouro' (A Voyage Without a Star Chart) is a tale of an 'unknown journey' told through a hybrid cinematic approach.
Set to a slow Andante at 72 BPM, the chilly synth ostinatos evoke the solitude of a lonely voyage. As the piece unfolds, it swells into a grand emotional peak, driven by heavy brass, deep choirs, and the thunderous strike of taiko-style percussion.
From a whispered hush in the silence to a soaring climax that reaches for the heavens-this track is dedicated to everyone who continues to move forward, even without a map to guide them."
I grew up in a household where the sound of the shakuhachi woke me each morning, surrounded by the presence of the koto and piano. Immersed in traditional Japanese music from a young age, I later spent my formative years absorbing a diverse array of genres without boundaries. Today, those roots form the foundation of my work as I pursue a "Neo-Japan Sound" centered on techno and electromusic. My goal is to update traditional Japanese sensibilities for the modern era through free-form composition that defies convention. Moving beyond fixed concepts and cherishing the inspiration of the moment, I strive to create a multifaceted world of sound driven by endless curiosity.
