"UMBABAYA" by DJ mame hiko is remixed by DJ JURI, the creator of the original Japanese tribal dance music genre known as "TAIKO DUB."

Active as a DJ since 1997, DJ JURI has developed her distinctive sound by fusing Japanese taiko and traditional percussion with tribal rhythms from around the world, as well as HOUSE, TECHNO and electronic dance music.

Her original style, TAIKO DUB, combines Japanese taiko drums, tribal percussion and electronic music into a unique form of dance music that has been presented both in Japan and internationally.

Her first "TAIKO DUB EP," released through Flower Records in 2005, reached No. 1 on the CISCO HOUSE sales chart, followed by "TAIKO DUB EP Vol.2," which also reached No. 1 in the HOUSE category. These releases helped establish the distinctive sound she continues to develop today.

For this remix, the unique world of DJ mame hiko's "UMBABAYA" meets DJ JURI's long-established fusion of taiko, tribal percussion and dance music.

Preserving the character of the original while adding powerful percussion, deep grooves and dancefloor energy, DJ JURI transforms "UMBABAYA" into a new tribal dance music experience shaped by her signature TAIKO DUB sound.
