Natural Calamity released their debut album, "Dawn In The Valley," produced by Toshio Nakanishi in 1991. Their music became legendary, shaping the ambient, Balearic, and chill-out scenes of the '90s and beyond. In 1998, they released their first album in the US on IDEAL RECORDS. Their music, renowned for its "dreamy sound," has even been used on the soundtrack for a Jack Johnson movie. Now, the internationally respected artist has released their ocean-themed ambient track, "Wipe Out," as a digital single. While evoking the deep blue of the ocean, this ambient masterpiece, as the title suggests, also evokes a sense of tranquility and freshness that seems to renew many things.
This single is a pre-release release from "DEEP BLUE" (released February 27th), the new series of the popular compilation "SALT... meets ISLAND CAFE," supervised by beach life magazine/media "SALT...."
