toitoitoi has just dropped their brand new digital single, "Maaru," available now on all major streaming platforms!

Penned by Kishikawa and composed/arranged by Sudo and Yasumoto, "Maaru" explores the theme of our own "missing pieces." It delivers a powerful, positive message that it's precisely these gaps that allow us to become whole. This heartwarming yet strong anthem encourages self-acceptance, celebrating the unique individual we are, just like the "round" hole of a donut-seemingly empty, yet essential.

Lyrics like "The world is too beautiful to be confined, let's break free and let the air flow through" beautifully articulate the value of embracing our true selves and engaging with the world openly. Their performance with a calm & sitting acoustic guitar, and beastly vocals tethered to a wired microphone is often commented as "I've never seen such performance, it's strange and new" or "I don't know what it is, but it's awesome." The most appealing is their live performances which they mainly perform with just the two of them. Those performances overturns the concept of acoustic style performances.
