泥濘と血の悪臭に満ちたフランドルの戦場において、トマス・アシュボーンという少年の精神を支え、同時に狂わせた唯一の「美と官能の幻影」。
白銀の流線型甲冑、濡れた黒髪、そして脳髄を溶かすような白檀（びゃくだん）と南方のスパイスの香り。ジャンヌ・ダルクの影として動く冷徹な女騎士リアナが、なぜ彼を生かしたのか。ただの流言飛語の駒だったのか、それとも無意識の雌としての遊戯だったのか――。
光闇居士が贈る、中世ヨーロッパの神秘的なケルト/古楽器の旋律と、病的なまでの映像美表現に拘り、そして思春期の青年のドロドロとした情欲と崇拝がないまぜになった、最高に艶美で淫靡な一曲。
