Following his debut single "HOME," shion returns with "HAPPY," a song about chasing a dream while wondering what it might cost the person beside you.
The same question keeps circling: "Can I make you happy, or will I let you down?" Every step forward brings the fear that something more important is being left behind. Caught between the urge to keep moving and the guilt of causing pain, he finds himself unable to walk away from either his dream or the person he wants to protect.
Despite its title, "HAPPY" lives in the uncertain space between ambition and love an honest confession from someone trying not to lose either.

Born in the Philippines and raised in Koshigaya, Saitama, Japan, shion is a Filipino-Japanese solo artist. He began his solo career in 2026, blending alternative R&B, lo-fi hip-hop, and understated pop. With lyrics written primarily in English, intimate vocals, and spacious production, his music balances emotional directness with an understated sense of movement. His songs explore relationships, difficult choices, and personal change, capturing emotions as they are rather than turning them into easy answers. Drawing on his background as a drummer, shion brings a distinct rhythmic sense to even his most restrained arrangements. He writes his own lyrics and takes an active role in composition and the creative direction of every release.
