datsu tokyo day
Ikeda Nantokanda
Three and a half years ago, Ikeda loudly declared his intention to leave Tokyo on his first album, "Datsutokyo," but he still finds himself unable to escape North Tokyo, which lies in the gap between Tokyo and the countryside.
And it also describes the diverse daily lives of the people who live in North Tokyo, which could be described as Tokyo's shadow.
"Days" here refers to both my own "days" and the plural form of "today" for the residents of this city.
These "days" are recreated with a story-like feel, from morning to night, throughout the 17 tracks on the album.
The range of genres in the songs is very broad, just like "Datsutokyo."

He himself calls the system "North Tokyo" . He usually thinks about the establishment and spread of this genre, and the future of Japan and the world.
